Holy $hit!

Robby my man, what were you thinking. I thought we had covered this already. If you screw with the COT, then Na$car will f-ck you. And I meant to go from screw to you-know-what. Not that a bumper cover matters, but Na$car is putting the hammer down (selectively, of course). And a sfar as cheating before the seaon even starts, I thought we learned from Mikey.

As far as Jr, it's not surprising. Theyre going for the win, why not cheat? Only Harvick has been punished in Cup for something in another series. And since Jr is half the fan base, Na$car would never park him. That's a smart crew chief there! Text in calls from home and cheat some more to get the crowd to cheer!

NA$CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

The morning after

Wow. That was still a great finish...just kinda wish smoke hadnt had a brainfart or w/e happened. But I do feel good for Newman, he deserved it. A Few remarks

1 WTF was Penske doing w/ a Hendrick hat. If I had to wear that I'd act like I had a bad case of dandruff or something.

2 I still don't get why NA$CAR ignored JPM

3 How did HMS wind up with an average finish of 27.5

4 Is Ky. Busch not going to be fined for criticizing Na$car like he did in the interview?

5 I'm not a MWR fan but those Gold Wheels were pretty sweet

6 How about Robby G and his top 10! And Labonte 11th! Nice to see them up there.

7 Kinda off topic, but is it me or does Tony look like he has been eating at Dairy Queen every day this oof season...and fired his barber? LOL

02/17/2008

Dang you JPM

First you wreck Bowyer by bumpdrafting in the corner, which nobody (including Smoke) does, then you get Blaney loose which makes Harvick look the villain taking out Blaney and Mark Martin, who is likely in his last Daytona 500!! And what's worse, NASCAR didn't even take notice of your stupidity. God Almighty!

BTW, to everyone here who remembers me, sorry I've been gone for so long, jsut been SUPER bsuy, being in my first year of high school!

Tony

How can you say David "lucked" into the 38? I guess you "Lucked" into the 20? No, you both earned it. But TOny, you were upset? After all, it wasn't David who wrecked you, but Jamie McMurray, who should have backed off after the caution came out. Now Tony, I am a fan of yours, but this is why I am learning to be upset with you. But I wholeheartedly agree with you from last week, about NASCAR. And I know that apology had no meaning, just something to satisfy the beast that runs NASCAR.

Jimmie, Jimmie

From my forum, teejracing.proboards101.com

..how is it that last year the 25 bumps the 48 into the 8 and all the Johnson fans go nuts and curse Brian Vickers, but when Jimmie not only causes the biggest wreck by not giving Tony Raines some room and causing one teammate to wreck, he wrecks his other teammate with a lack of communication, no one cares Hello, this is Nascar, not the demolition derby.

Phoenix/COT: Crap of tomorrow

Why in the world does Nascar expect the crap of tomorrow to be accepted. Usually, a first-time winner in a brand-new car doesn't say it sucks, does he? And even if it was Blockhead Busch, he had to have some reason for saying it.

Probably the sport's most respected driver, Mark Martin, hates it and doesn't want to race in it. Many drivers say it has a long way to go. This cat looks even less like a car and more like a tank. Nascar has no alternative, no back-up plan. And it seems like they have bombed this one. Why can't we go back to reinforced steel chassis and street-legal bodies and cars-with a gas tank exception of course.

Phoenix: Land of the desert and surpringly good racing

I like Phoenix. Probably because I do so well in sims at the track. My random pre-race ramblings:

Mikey will miss another race, even though he did well here, he is not in a good car.

We could see a darkhorse winner here. With the right pit strategy and knowledge of blocking, a so-so team could eke out a win or a top-five here.

DJ will use another provisional, no surprise there

My pick to win is Jeff Gordon. I hate him, I hate Hendrick, but he is hungry for a win and bonus points and he has never won there. I would LOVE to be proven wrong but he should do well.

Thoughts and prayers to VT families, we hope you can bounce back

For those following this , I advise you to download and listen to Youth of the nation by POD. It is a mild song and sounds like it was written after the VTECH Shootings, though it wasn't

Also, thanks to Buck and Bass, and the Rowdy crew for giving me the top spot on the Big 4 today Thanks A lot

Also, for those who join my website, teejracing.proboards101.com, I will give you ten karma if you say Rowdy

All that's left...

...of PPI is about to be auctioned off five minutes from my house. This is why Nascar needs to do something to help the smaller teams. Cal Wells worked extremely hard for six years so he could do what? Auction off his shop at probably rock-bottom prices. This same thing has happened to Andy Petree (who went to my school in Newton, NC along with Dale Jarrett and Dr. Jerry Punch), who lost his team after his sponsors left. Same with Junie Dunleavy, a cornerstone for so long just ripped away like trash. Melling Motorsprts suffered the same fate, after having several championships. Travis Carter (whom I know) worked with the best, and now after being out of the sport and renting his shops to Peak Racing and Clay Andrews Racing (both of which are gone) is a co-owner of a solitary Busch team, the 14 of Kyle Krisiloff. If the proposed Chrysler slae could render Evernham Motorsports into oblivion, possibly bringing BAM with it. Is Nascar just supposed to sit down and watch the former champions and competitiors file for bankruptcy? Is that how a corporate body treats it's clients? If only we were able to bring costs down so there wouldnt be a need for sponsors. I hope Nascar takes note of this soon. Otherwise it will be Roush vs. Hendrick vs. Gibbs vs. RCR vs. nobody before we know it.

What is wrong with us?

Why on earth do things like what happened at VTECH today? This is awful, horrible news. 33 people died because someone didn't have the sense to teach his child how to take care of problems. We wonder why the world is full of violence, hatred, and war. Don't we see lack of discipline is the result. We need some Texas Justice in this world. From the beginning of the world people have died for things far short of killing. Now, in our "civilized" world, murderers walk and child molesters live next to bus stops. Chris Rock once said "Bullets should cost $1000." If that occured, the world would be a better place to be. When will the Lord deliver us from this sin.

My thoughts and prayers to those affected by this act of terrorism. May justice be served by the Ultimate Judge.

What to do with the Busch Series

Everybody know what Joe Balash says is bs right? Well, what should he do? What should Nascar do to pick up the shambles of a once-good feeder series now a Cup B-Main? Here's my solution, not original, just putting together some puzzle pieces.

First: Get rid of the Busch Series. Busch is leaving anyway, what better time to fold?

Second: Make a series for Muscle Cars on ovals. Ford brings the Mustang, Dodge the Viper, Toyota the......(insert new car here), and of course, Chevy's Corvette. Open up competition to others, like DaimlerBenz, BMW, Porsche, etc. Spice up the series. Have these drivers be totally seperate from the Cup Series and run them on Friday Afternoons.

Third: Absorb the IRL or CART and put them on Friday nights or Saturday Afternoons.

Fourth. Run the Trucks Saturday Night (or Sunday if it is a Saturday Cup Race).

Would this not give more diversity to Na$car?

But, as we know, this will never happen. Several years ago, maybe. After all, Bill France Sr. was a racer by blood, sweat, and tears, Bill Jr. ran the Baja 1000 several times, but what does Brian do? Wreck a car going 5 MPH down a straight road. I wish Big Bill could set Brian straight. I'll bet ya he's rolling over in his grave every time Brian tries to "Help" NA$CAr (or his own coffers).
