nashville tomorrow

i have tried to find the nashville group.. no such luck..help me out here who is going.???.i am excited to meet my fellow rowdies at the track,, I will be there saturday morning for some pre race hanging out. send me a message

saturday i got to go racing!

its season ticket holders day at nashville superspeedway to pick up their tickets and drive their own personal cars around the track .. it,, was in a little mercedes,, top down of course,,and going 85 miles an hour.. what a thrill!!!!!! i did not drive,, but i enjoyed being a passenger . i got my fix on for my need for speed! never ever have i had the opportunity to ride the track in that manner,,, nashville has no real high banks,,but they were thrilling enough,, my first trip to my new *home track* !! way cool! pics in my albums

its racin time!

normally i have a big daytona party this time of year. but being in a new city,, this one is different.. no real racing buddies so its me and my tv! i am soooo geeked for the start of this season.. possibility of Jr! taking it all this weekend,, and toyotas are coming in nice!!

yes i am in nashville.

i am still alive gang and getting into a routine..not much time for me to play on a computer,, but decided to check in and see how the rowdies have been..

i am loving my new atmosphere,, work is crazy as can be,, but you can't bet the weather.. i will be moving into my permanent apartment in a couple weeks,, then will go north to collect my kids and the house in january. Imagine me.. driving to nashville my truck completely loaded,, and i only brought my clothes and shoes..lol

i can't wait till season starts back up and the trucks and * busch* series arrive at nashville speedway!!

i wanted to send out a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to BECKY T.. she turned the corner and hit the big 40! now she can be a smart cool person. i believe you can't truely be a smart person until you have lived enough of lifes hard lessons,, and it takes lots off time to do that. so now your the ultimate in COOL and smart!!! LOL i am going to miss you terrible girl!!!!!

did we have fun with Rowdy this weekend

The banner arrived on Thursday about 4 hours before i was scheduled to leave for MIS.. I started the ROWDY weekend with all the people on my bus.. They knew i had a mission to spread the word about Rowdy.

Met up with Becky and GIGI on friday afternoon about 2-3 o'clock we hung for a while. Then went in the to the souvineers to take a look around visit old friends. We went by the TV area to see when trackside is on. I had about 3 hours till showtime..

Grabbed both gigi and becky and headed to the show.. God it was HOT We picked a place in the back to stay out of the camera way and the hundred of people there.. I was thinking if we played good they would allow us to stay.. We'll i think we were way too far back and the flying camera never really hit us at a good angle.. BUT GANG we were there.. Plenty of times GIGI grabbed my homemade sign and went running to get in the camera view.. I Hope those signs made it on at least a couple times The whole walk home.. We held up the signs and yelled out ROWDY . to anyone who responded to our sign.. It got to be funny One of my signs said Let's get ROWDY and people would yell woo hoo ROWDY and we would yell back DOT. COM ROWDY.com

That thing was heavy and we didnt have it taped up very well either.. it would fold over etc.. Learned alot Place yourself as close a syou can to the camera.. let the people round you know what your doing Youc an talk ROWDY with them.. On FRI we had two guys holding up signs for us who were there watching.. You will see them soon on here

Sat we stayed in the campground.. Good thing for both gigi and me cause we had waaayyyyyyyy too much fun on sat Becky had gone home.. too much for her to handle.. I ran into GIGI across the track at a HUGE party spot Funny,,

Sunday both GIGI and I were commited to making the show.. and we left camp around 10:15. Bringing our box and our hand held sign We braved the heat for an hour waiting for the show to start.. Whwn Kenny finally came out we waved the signs and yelled but i am sure he missed the sign completely. Ther were sooooooo many hundred of people there. Ray came and joined us in line.. Funny he was able to find us by signs.. he took alot of pics.. Very nice to meet you RAY and it was a plesure working with you :-) Gigi gave up first..She was not looking too pink..I think it was more like GREEN So Ray and i continued the banner for a little then seperated my home made sings into two sign to hold up ourselves.. we moved around..tried to tape a stick to one.. We did it with bumper stickers he had picked up and some one in the audience gave me another one to use..

I held the sings up high the whole walk home.. fun to hear people yelling out GET ROWDY in the groups as we passed by. Those homemade sings were in the windows of our bus the whole time ..people walked by and saw them,, a few asked.. We had a suprise visitor to our camp on sunday night. and he even saw them... Mike Skinner.. i asked him if he had ever done an interview with bass or buck.. he didnt seem to remember.. But he did ask if we were Busch fans????? LOL guess he tutor's him in racing style.. CAN YOU TELL??????

We had a ball and ROWDY campaigning made it ever funner Make some signs whenyou go to the track pu them in your car.. get on the tv show..IT's fun Meet your fellow rowdy's at trackside or raceday shows.. we did and I loved it
