Kahne Crap

I really need to post my forum reply here in a blog, regarding this whole situation, so here goes...

I am appalled that so many people will blatantly overlook the fact that Kasey broke the law. And I am also tired of "celebrities" thinking they can do whatever they want. If my fave driver ever did that, I would want to smack him in the head. There is ABSOLUTLEY NO excuse for behaving like he owns
the place. That guard was just doing his job. How hard was
it for Kasey to take a few seconds out his day to show I.D.? AGAIN, the orders were to NOT let people in WITHOUT I.D. Now how up in arms would everyone have been if just one time a guard did not follow orders, and a driver ended up hurt by some wacko "fan"? Be glad that there are still honest people who do what they are told. As for being sued by the guard, I believe that if there is an actual need for him to have missed work SOLELY due to Kasey's actions, then Kasey should pay ONLY for lost wages and doctor fees. I do not agree with insane amounts of money. Let's try putting ourselves in the shoes of others, and see how we would react.

My Dream Is Not A Dream...

I AM VERY UPSET ABOUT WHAT I SAW ON SPEED CHANNEL. KENNY WALLACE, IN MY OPINION DESERVES A RIDE JUST AS MUCH AS THE NEXT GUY. LET'S GO BACK TO THE LOVE FOR RACING, NOT JUST THE MONEY. I KNOW THE MONEY GOES TO THE "BETTER" DRIVERS, BUT I DO NOT THINK THAT 1 DRIVER NEEDS 3 DIFFERENT MAIN SPONSORS, WHEN OTHER DRIVERS COULD BE USING THEM TO GET IN A CAR/TRUCK. I AM GOING TO START A FUND...
The Kenny Wallace Fund.
For all drivers who need help getting financial backing.
I am not day dreaming. I know it will not reach millions
of dollars anytime soon. But it's worth it. I want to give something back to NASCAR, and its great drivers, for all they've given to us!
I must contact Kenny's peeps first. It's only a dream if I let
it be a dream. I am personally going donate a portion of my paycheck every 2 weeks.
w00t! Go Kenny!

RAISE ENOUGH MONEY TO GET RACE SPACE ON A CAR!?!?!?!
HMMMMM........

What's 2.5 Million between friends? o.O

I now understand what Buck and Bass go through

I finished creating my very first podcast last Friday,
and let me tell you, I think I lost half my hair! How in the world does it take 4 days to put together a 20 minute episode!? I can only imagine (with great fear)
what putting the Rowdy podcast together is like. On the other hand, I am doing it all on my own, and they are a team. But still, it is darn frustrating. My hubby says I sound like an instructional tape. lol I was angry
after a while, that I didn't care what I sound like. I just wanted it out there! If anyone has any tips, please share! lol

Been A Long Time

Wow! I can't believe I've let Rowdy get away from me so long. I missed you guys. Been really busy... Blah Blah, same story we all tell. lol First off, thanks to everyone who helped out in our charity event back in August. We raised $495.00 for VJGC! We look forward to our next event, and having one every year, with a different beneficiary each time. Sooo, on with my gone so long tale.. Working way over time on my social network and slowly growing well. We're going to be rolling out a new edition of Race Space for 2008 and beyond. Can't tell all the secrets yet, though. lol Our online store, The Pit Shop got a complete overhaul and is now rockin' the checkers! Garage Arts is next on the list. I am changing site hosts and hope to release an even better site of my NASCAR designs.
On the personal side, hubby finally made a break from his dead end job to better things, and we are now planning on moving to a better home as well.
Life is definitely keeping us on our toes. My son, who is Autistic, has been having some difficulty lately, but we are working with him to make him feel better. So many things are involved when caring for an autistic child. None of which I would trade for anything though.
Well, that's all for my long winded episode. Hope you all have a great weekend, and good luck to your drivers!

Race Space Charity Auction - Benefiting VJGC

Race Space is proud to introduce a new community event! This year, we are holding the auction to benefit Victory Junction Gang Camp. We need your help to pull this off, and it will cost you no money what-so-ever.
It will however, cost some time, and a generous donation of 1 or more NASCAR related collectibles you possess, but would be willing to donate to the charity auction. All items you agree to donate will be placed on eBay, sold as a charitible donation to VJGC.

Here's how it works:

Starting today:

1. NASCAR fans pledge to donate an item at Race Space.
2. Submit a photo of the item to me. (NightPhoenix_A)
3. After all items are collected, I will start the listing on eBay.
4. Once the auction is over, I will send shipping money to all who donated items. Money will be sent via PayPal.
5. Members will ship the donated item to the winning bidder.
6. That's it! Mission Fish automatically take the donated percentage of the profits and give it to VJGC in our name!

To be clear, only 75% of the winning bid will be donated.
The rest will be used as shipping money.
No members of RS will make any money out of this!
The percentage used for shipping will vary depending on how many items there are to ship out.

VJGC will ALWAYS receive the most money out of this charity auction.

Here is a link to the VJGC charity page:
Victory Junction Gang Camp

Please promote the auction on other sites you use, or ask your friends and family to help us out. We will have a bit of code to post in places that people can see and click to join in on this. There will also be a forum thread set up to showcase photos of donated items.

On 9/13/07, all items pledged will be listed on eBay.

Thanks for your time, and any effort to help you can offer!

On my website, my username is NightPhoenix_A.
Please ask any questions. There is a thread up now
for people to showcase their donated items. A small
graphic is also availbale now to post on other sites.

My NCTS Rant and Bristol Pick...

You should have seen that truck race last night! If you missed it,
you missed a great show. Here is a brief run down of my antics
last night:

I was so p-i-s-t! I know Kyle did not mean to do what he did,
but I wanted him to win so bad, I got angry at him when he
failed. He was so close! I was screaming so loud and giving
lovely color commentary, my upstairs neighbors were banging
on the ceiling. I threw the remote, and kicked a chair. My mum
says I should be an announcer on T.V. I told her I'd be arrested
on the first night.
Ok, so I might have some anger issues. Hmmm.

Anyway, now on to my Bristol pick. Him coming so close to
winning last night and, in my opinion having the upper hand
since he and few other Cup drivers took to the redone track
is the reason I choose Kyle Busch to win. As well as those
reasons, let's not forget who won here last time Bristol came
around. Then there's the weight that seems to be lifted from
him since choosing his new team for '08 and beyond. He
really seems less distracted, and a bit more focused. Barring
anything bad happening on the track Saturday, I really think
he's the guy to get it done this week. Heck, even if I'm wrong,
he'll definitely have a top 8 finish for sure. Again, barring crazy
wrecks, car troubles, or insane drivers.
