The in-car video (or on-cowl video) has been posted on YouTube. DO NOT TRY the one on this website. It does not work. When Rusty & James get in tomorrow morning, they will deal with it. Please feel free to join me at my Channel over at YouTube and let me know what you think:

I know the sound is terrible, but that is the downfall of this particular unit. The mounting bracket has a vibration to it that drowns out all sounds. It has two settings, HI and LO. The Watkins Glen and PVGP videos were shot on LO and not much can be heard at all. This outing I chose to set it to HI and tape the heck out of the bracket, but to no avail. Just turn the sound on your speakers down. No Spyro Gyra this time. Enjoy.
Yes, once again, the hosts of our show are trying to do away with our esteemed collegiate intellectual. Doctor Professor Marlon Fescue was pre-empted by Pooley last Friday and we must PROTEST! EVERYONE WHO WANTS THE PROF BACK THIS FRIDAY,... STAND UP AND BE COUNTED! PLEASE DO NOT LET HIM BE RETIRED!
P.S. I will be racing up at Lime Rock Park, CT this weekend, but only on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Please stop by if you can. I would love to flood the paddock with the Rowdy Nation! I believe RRM, Christi and part of the Black Sheep will be in attendence! Come one, come all!
Gregory Samuel 187 will celebrate his second birthday tomorrow. 9/13/08! Woo-hoo! Happy Birthday Greg!
Chief and I have returned from Portugal. We were there for my brother's wedding. We missed you guys. The hotel had wireless interenet, but it was 4.95 Euros/day (about $7.50 US/day), so we didn't get to log in. At Lisbon airport it was 2EU (~$3) for 1 hour, so I was able to DL the podcasts to listen on the way home.
It's good to be back in the states. We rescued MIL187 and J2Allard from ML187 and GS187, who thankfully stayed at our house to watch the boys for a week. They (MIL187 & J2Allard) seem to have survived with no traumatic effects. The boys can be a handful if they choose.
It's good to be back on Rowdy. I've missed the website. I'll have to look around for news on the past two races. We have seen nothing (except that Lewis Hamilton took the pole for the F1 race). I understand Jimmy is showing a little domination of late?
Where's my Rowdy podcast?!? iTunes will not download. Invalid podcast URL? I'm showing withdrawal.... not... gonna... make... it.......
Good afternoon Rowdizens! Team 187 has returned from the PVGP with car intact (and a little damp). I have posted the videos of two practice sessions and the race in a loew format video mode here on Rowdy:
http://www.rowdy.com/content/profile/videos/750
But over on my YouTube Channel I have posted the high-res versions, cut into 5-8 minute bites:

The race was pretty wet, but it got me the coveted "Best Drive" award for my race group, Group 5, Over Two Liter.
I wanted to title this blog, "Demolition Derby at 185 mph, or 400 mile race? You decide."
Chief, after a long day taking ML187 into the city for the Lion King on b-way, fell asleep on the couch and woke up to me yelling at the TV. Through the debris-caution conspiracy theories and all the other anti-NASCAR movements, I have been the staunchest NASCAR defender, but enough is enough. Yes, I am aware that wrecks=ratings. But there are a bunch of wrecked racecars and a bunch of sore drivers. That didn't have to be if they'd bothered to throw the caution when Jeff spun in turn one at THE FRONT OF THE FIELD at the start of the green/white/checkered. Was it really that important to have another half-lap of wrecking/racing? Did it really make the race that much more exciting? The outcome didn't change, Kyle was ahead when Jeff spun.
I finally figured out how to use YouTube last weekend. For those of you who appreciate the incar videos from my exploits on the vintage circuit I have posted all of the incar videos in 5-10 minute segments on my YouTube Channel. There are eleven clips, probably about an hour and a half of viewing time. Thanks for watching and enjoy:

After several days of struggling with uploading the unedited video from the in car camera, I finally broke down and did some editing. The resolution is smaller, the clips are shorter, but they're finally uploaded. Go to my video tab and watch the edited incar stuff.
Four clips. Friday morning, Friday afternoon, Sat afternoon and Sunday morning. The camera did not get the Sat morning dice I had in the wet with the Red 356 #18, driven by Bob K, the Mayor of Happytown. Sorry.
Guess who made the cover of the June issue of Victory Lane Magazine!
