Who Am I:
I'm a die hard racer turned fan. I have been there and done that for over 20 years of my life. Racing is the greatest rush this life has to offer so I thought. Then I had kids that have equaled the rush by participating extreme sports. Now that's my new high. Watching my son at 8 years old master the art of TaeKwando. He is a Black Belt candidate fighting for a position on the US junior Olympic team. Now thats a RUSH.
Favorite Track:
Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Favorite Racing Moment:
When Tony Stewart brings his "A" game to the track
Why I'm a race fan:
I have been involved in racing since age 15. I learned how to ride a motorcycle at that age and in less than 2 years I became #2 in the nation as a professional dirt tracker. I then picked up on road racing and from there I started a business, Selvy's Performance Specialties" I owned and operated this business for over 20 years and I catered specifically to racers and people that had the need for speed. I have worked for several factories developing engines, chasis', Suspension specialist and complete fabricator. I worked for HS Die and Eng, specifically with my ex- brother-in-law Tim Steele. He was the #1 ARCA driver for multiple years and one of the winning est drivers to date in that class.
I have racing in my blood still to this day. My favorite driver with out a doubt is Tony Stewart. I believe he is the real "living" Intimidater" Dale Sr has passed but Tony has filled his shoes nicely. I predict Tony WILL win the championship once again either in 08 or 09.
