Quote/Motto: "DEI without Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a museum." - Tony Stewart on Dale Jr. possibly leaving DEI.
Favorite Driver: Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Driver I won't be sending a Christmas card:
Kyle Busch
Who Am I:
I am a happily married Graphic Designer/House Flipper that loves NASCAR. I am also into music and all things related to water like fishing, wakeboarding and jetskiing, just to name a few. Also, I've been shooting 100 for 20 years, but I still love golf.
Favorite Track:
Richmond International Raceway
Favorite Racing Moment:
Any time at the track!
How I discovered Rowdy, and why I Listen:
Found it by searching iTunes and reading about it on Jski's site. I was even a paying member for a while because in my book there is no better way to get the NASCAR news than to enjoy the Rowdy guys bringing it their way. The added bonus of meeting fans with similar interest just caps it off and makes it a great experience!
Why I'm a race fan:
My Dad started taking us to Southside Speedway (where Denny Hamlin started out) when we were about 5 years old and I have been hooked ever since.
What car/truck I drive now:
F-150 STX
My dream car:
Ford Shelby Mustang GT-H Convertible
Favorite Music:
Ryan Adams and Hank III, Jack Johnson, G-Love, U2, REM, Police, BoDeans, any alt-country, rock, alternative, old country, jazz, blues.
Favorite Movies:
Don't watch many except for Pixar and Disney movies with my 7 year old but classics like Caddyshack, TommyBoy and Monty Python's Holy Grail crack me up!
Favorite TV Shows:
Dexter, Weeds, Californication, The Office, Inside Nextel Cup & Trackside Live
Favorite Books:
Clancey, Thor, Grisham, Baldacci, Ted Bell, Rand, King and Jimmy Buffett
Interests:
Playing with my 7 year old Daughter.
Dislikes:
People that trash Nascar without giving it a try.
Hobbies:
Golf, fishing, watersports, Nascar, stocks and renovating houses
Vices:
Playing the stock market.
Virtues:
Great dad and husband.
Heroes:
People who make a difference to others.
NOT only does he drive wrecklessly, his mouth runs wrecklessly.
“I just went out there and I drive a race car, Busch said. “And, you know, when I make mistakes, certain people have to pay for them, and unfortunately today, the No. 88 (Hendrick team), they have to pay for it."
He's winning because he's driving on the edge all the time, he wrecks people and someone needs to teach the PUNK a lesson.
Next time I'll tell you guys how I really feel.
I'm taking my 7 year old Daughter to her first race tonight in Richmond. I'm hoping she makes it through the whole race but if not I've got the DVR running. I went to my first race about that age and my Dad said I fell asleep! LOL
Kyle Busch won again last night here in Richmond at Southside Speedway (Dennys Home Track). He and Denny Hamlin raced with the proceeds going to Denny's new Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Kyle is on a roll, how long will it last?
Here is the link to the Thursday Night Race.

........or did his wife want him off the box? In an interview at the end of last year he said he wanted off the box so that he could spend more time at home. He said that his family had discussed it and thought it was the best thing for the family as a whole. That doesn't always work out. Its kind of the grass is always greener kind of thing. Also like when you ask a wife if you're glad the husband is home more now that he is retired. She usually says NO!, he is bugging the heck out of me, I wish he would get a hobby. I liked he and Matt together, I wish him well.
I heard B & B talking about the IRL race today. I don't watch IRL on TV or keep up with the standings but my Dad and I go every year because it is fun to watch. I think they hit 180 and they are just stuck to the track because of the tremendous downforce they produce. They don't pass alot but when they do it is scary because they are covering so much distance so fast that you think they will wreck each other every time. It's worth a trip guys and there are usually about 60 K people there and some fun tailgating going on.
I enjoyed you guys on CN8 last night. You came across as knowledgeable, passionate fans and got Rowdy some new listeners for sure! The feed set up with Larry Mac wasn't the greatest because there was a disconnect between you two guys and Larry (which was CN8's fault) but all in all, it was informative to the new fans, and fun for us Rowdy-ites to see our Boys in action on the tube!
I'm in the market for a realistic Nascar game for either the computer or the TV depending on the pros and cons of each format. Please offer some suggestions.
Thanks
