Northern Ohio Legends Series Points Leader as of 6/16/08

As of the latest point standings update June 16th, I am in the lead in the overall points and also in the Semi-Pro class too! Our series races all drivers together, Semi-Pro, Pro and Masters. Five top five finishes. 3 seconds, 1 third and 1 fourth. Two heat race victories also. I would like to thank God, family, friends and sponsors for this great season I have been having and can only hope to hang on to the lead for the entire season. Lowe's Summer Shootoout Results

HEY ROWDY NATION, WOW what an awesome place to race. I started the 8 lap heat race in 2nd and finished in 5th. That put me into the 'A" Main. There were 40 Semi-Pro's that entered. Ten in each heat race. Top 5 transfered 20 went to the 'B' Main and they took the top 8. I started the 20 lap feature in 19th out of 28 cars. About the 10th lap I was up to 14th. The car ahead of me spun and I collected it, no where to go. Restarted on the tail and finished in 18th. Hope everyone will watch the show that will air on Speed TV sometime this winter. Another Top Three Finish

Seventeen Legends cars hit the track at Lorain County Speedway Saturday night. I started my heat race in third and finished first! Second heat race win for the season. Started the 25 lap feature from the fourth position. I battled for the lead and still came up short for the win, finished second. First in Semi-Pro's.

Stats:
3 Second place finishes
1 Third place finish

Lots of racing left in the Northern Ohio Legends Series. Guess it's time to get ROWDY! LOL

Great Run for Joey Lagano

Great run for his first race in the Nationwide series. I think he proved himself with the top 10! He'll be there, with the kind of backing he has and his experience! Good win for Denny Hamlin. WOW how do I get there? needing some insight!
As for my racing, I finished third last night at Midvale Speedway. Off to a pretty good start in the Northern Ohio Legends Series. Three races, two seconds and one third! Next race, back to Lorain County Speedway June 7th. On my way...Dale Dodge Jr

Been Gone A While

Sorry for the delay with updates. I was sidelined for a week with a broken finger and the weather played a role with the others. I had a great night of racing at Lorain County Speedway. I started the 25 lap feature 14th out of 18, the car got better and better every lap. I worked through the field and when the checkers flew I ended up finishing SECOND in this event. I needed a couple more laps. We have only had 3 races in the Northern Ohio Legends Series, I raced in two of them, posting two second place finishes, with both being Firsts in Semi-Pro's. The wins are coming! Thanks to the crew and sponsors for making it possible. Next event will be at Midvale Speedway-May, 31st. Here's your grassroots racing! Thanks for your interest and shouts!
