Every weekend my father would have the races on. I would often ignore and get pissed I couldn't watch some random cartoon. Then all of the sudden Jeff Gordon came along and I was hooked.

Jeff Gordon's Legacy
I think it is important Jeff wins at least 1 or 2 championships in the new chase format before he hangs up his driving suit. You could see it in his performance last year. Dude wants it bad. I feel winning a championship in the new format would give him the advantage over Big E.
I think the biggest challenger to Jeff's records is Jimmie Johnson. One thing Jimmie will never have is a championship in the old format.
