How I discovered Rowdy, and why I Listen:
I mow grass every day and listen to my motor and I guess these guys are just a little better... snicker. But seriously I think these guys put on the best "FROM THE POINT OF THE FAN SHOW" out there. Seriouly. I listen every day. I laugh, I cry I shake my head, HEHE. Seriously though I can tell that u guys put forth effort every day. The interviews are great, but ur fantasy handicapper is a little off sometimes. Rick Mast is the best and man, I cant even keep up with u guys sometimes, its always something interesting and new. I cut grass 5 days a week with my wife and if u guys want to shoot the breeze about nascar or the auto industry just give me a call. Im a huge jimmie fan and I just got a new 42" TV with Direct TV HOTPASS. Holy sweet man. Give me a call sometime I can conversate with the best, Im good for ideas too. 231-883-3143

The fans I met at MIS are not as informed as a ROWDY MEMBER. I feel as if I am enlighented as to the happenings of NASCAR ACTION just because I listen to the show and participate in the BLOG. Thanks guys for making my HEAD, BIGGER than the rest!
My wife and I went to the race and had an excellent time. The people are so nice and Kyle didnt win! He doesnt need 10 more on the field goin into the chase. The crowd at MIS was glad in most to see Kyle not win. Buzz is wrong if he tinks this ting is over. Me thinks hes trying to get Buck goin... he's good at that. Anyway my man in the #48 got bumped by #24, and then #88 was in the wall. Hendrick had a bad day. But I had a great time thanks to all the great fans at MIS campground. It was fun. But NOBODY THERE heard of rowdy. SOOOOOOOOOOOO sad.... :(
Next year Im printing up some fliers to put out there in the camp ground
I just got back from MIS Graves campground. Man what a great time. I got to see qualifing, nns, and , sprint cup series races. they were all good. It was an incredible time for my neighbor glenn who is a 99 fan from canada. He was really chared up. his wife couldnt make it through the race the last three times they have went to a race there, and every time she leaves Carl wins. so Glenn is thinking strategy now. I was surrounded by canadians at the campground. I enjoyed Racer X's report on the race. X, you are right on again about everything that happend at the race. I could go on and on about everything but I think the XMAN coverd it all. :)
It seems to me that everyone, sponsors, drivers, owners, fans, and tv executives, and the motor companies all want their cake and they want to eat it too.. ... Thats just BS man. We have a car that is a tank on the track, and millions being spent of making a piece of junk go faster than the next piece of junk. I would rather see these guys in Stock cars with roll cages. Yes that's right, stock cars, real cars. Not a tank thats built to take a beating and stay out there. It seems to me the Sponsors wanted a car that could get all beat up and stay out there so they could get the most out of their dollar. Nascar helped the sponsors out here. But they screwed the fan. And the Driver, and the sponsor in the end. Look at how many sponsors have left. Only the big 4 can win races. It sucks. I want competitive racing, but if only 15 out of the 40 teams are willing to be competitive than so be it. And as far as GM, Ford and Dodge are concerned, if they left this sport it would be tragic, but look at GM loosing over 11 billion dollars last quarter. I know some retired auto execs and they seem to think that GM may be getting handed over to the government soon if they cant fulfill their agreements to the UAW. Michigan is in turmoil right now. The companies cant get out of here fast enough. But when You send a worker whos unemploied on vacation who was builing trucks and he makes 90% of his wage not working, your gonna loose your ass GM. If Nascar fans want to see Chevy, Ford, or Dodge stay around, you better start buying em.
My wife seems to think that a car driving around the track with a box of tampons painted on the hood is gonna generate big business for the sponsor. Is she right or wrong??? The MOEJOE would like to hear what all the ladies have to say about this? That includes u too Buck.... Snicker....
They were raised on the nipple of the OVAL. Not on a road track. Suprised that Tony made that call, not me. What about u?
think the Kyle B, and Dale JR. incidents have a little in common. Kyle didnt have something that he needed at Hendrix, or Rick firing him "flipped his switch". But what if Steve A and Kyle B just seem to have some great chemistry. Steve's setups might be spot on just because kyle know how to tell him "how he like's it".The MOEJOE believes that some people think Tony Eury is the problem with Dale not winning. But for some reason Dale is in the best position he has been in for last few years. Maybe its the new garage with no BS all the time. Is it the equipment, the driver, the chief? I think some of these people in NASCAR are reading ART OF WAR and learning how to really win... I think Joe Gibbs is just a little better workin with young guys and communicating with them. Hendrix Motor Sports is a differnet kind of orginization. As far as how the MOEJoe is concerned, a special should be done on ROWDY about how communication works in a racing team, and how shop attitude translates to the track...
u know I never thought I would miss buck from the show but I did for that one week. He knows his stuff and I dont think I gave him enough credit. Don't get me wrong the show was good with Bass and Buzz, but those astronauts tend to "fly away" when Buck isnt there to ground them. I think every member of the team plays a very important roll in ROWDY. It like a well oiled.... well, u know...
I dont want to be the one who cleans his suit this week. Nooooooooooooooooooooo.
