THANK YOU FOR THE WARM WELCOMES.
I hope all of my new ROWDY friends and their families are having a very blessed and joyful holiday season. I work retail, and it has been a little crazy, but 'tis the season. HA HA HA or is that HO HO HO. LOL.
I am sad Ricky Rudd is retiring, he is part of MY GENERATION. But I don't think he'll stray too far from the track.
Actually, as far as my favorite driver goes, it is whoever crosses the finish line first. I cheered just as hard as any Dale Earnhardt fan did when he won the Daytona 500. When Clint Boyer was in the lead for his FIRST WIN at New Hamphsire this year, I was cheering and yelling at the TV.
I also believe Dale, Sr is spinning in his grave for what Teresa allowed to happen at DEI. But, that's part of life and racing. Best of luck to Jr and the whole Hendrick crew. Best of luck to ALL THE TEAMS next year.
The COT (car of tomorrow) is now the COT (car of TODAY). The Cup level of competition will now be more like IROC, especially if there is increased impounding after qualifying. Pretty much the differences will be the motors and nameplates. Sorry about that, got to running off at the mouth.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY ROWDY FRIENDS. IF YOU ARE EVER COMING TO THE CHARLOTTE/CONCORD AREA, LET ME KNOW. LET'S GO RACIN!
