Danica did her thing, let's let her race, and be "just like the other guys" and not overanalyze her every move. People have an opinion on everything from her emotional reactions, what she said/didn't say, Anna comparisons etc. Everybody jus keep talkin, and meanwhile they'll have to back a Brinks truck up to her door for all the endorsements, especially if she does the UNTHINKABLE and gets some more wins...
Lil shrub could have an unprecedented year, I guess if KK doesn't pull some magic, I can't think of a guy I'd rather see do some big thangs this year...
Holla at your Rowdy rapper!
First off, BIG UPS TO ROWDY... hittin the 10k members mark, almost there y'all keep doin what you do!
C'mon ya'll lets face it. Anyone willing to drive 200 miles per hour has risk taking in their blood. Young, rich, rockstars behind the wheel, and a multi billion dollar organization standing to potentially chop down its breadwinners. Might be tough to implement drug testing of our drivers. Scary thought of guys using recreational drugs on race day. But as in all sports, you gotta talk about it, explore it, and if need be, clean it up. Pretending it doesn't exist seems like a recipe for disaster. For the young fans, the fellow drivers, even the offenders. At the end of the day, they are people, nothing more, nothing less. Let's just hope for the most part the need for speed stays on the track. At the end of the day, a drug user is a drug user whether they are rich and famous, or everyday people, we should all try to have their back and get em right... Holla y'all...
Don't anybody tell me there aint a God, or that Angels weren't lookin out for the rook, Michael McDowell. Did ya'll count the flips? (8 total) And for those who argued and fought against the Hans Device, IT SAVES LIVES no matter how you slice it...
I'm not sure which hurts Ryan Newman more the points or the probation, but now he's in a bind where he can't make anymore "unfortunate mistakes" till the end of the year. I respect the dude and his team for trying to push the envelope a little, but why do all of these drivers defer to the "oops, did I do that" defense? I don't buy it, you have a full crew, multi million dollar organization/team/car, you just don't miss that stuff... Just own up, and just say "we wanted a little edge" or simply we'll fix it and make it right next time". I agree they can a little fickle, BUT, its meant to make the playing field level.
BUT... one good thing about Ryan Newmans little snaffu, is that it puts my dude from my 'hood' Mr. Kahne only 3 pts out of the top 10. After such a dissappointing finish in Texas, I'm still high on my dude makin a statement with the #9 Bud Dodge... Coincidentally, I push the Dodge wit' the Hemi as well...
Holla...
