Seeing Keselowski take the checkered flag in the JR Motorsports #88 reminded me of another Keselowski that also raced a car #88 on the Cup circuit in the early 70's. I'm sure it is just a coincidence but Ron Keselowski (Brad's uncle) is shown here in a #88 that the caption says was the 1972 Firecracker 400 at Daytona. Caption: " A quintet of speedy cars tour the high banks of Daytona in the July 4 Firecracker 400. Bill Champion's #10 Ford ducks to the low side to allow passing room for #14 Coo Coo Marlin, #15 Donnie Allison, #12 Bobby Allison, and #88 Ron Keselowski. Bobby Allison finished third, Marlin fourth, Keselowski seventh, and Donnie Allison eighth."
