How I discovered Rowdy, and why I Listen:
I found it when searching for NASCAR podcasts when I got my Ipod earlier this year, and I have been hooked ever since. I listen to the podcast while I am out walking and delivering my mail routes. The podcast is informative, and generally pretty funny. It also has a personal feel to it.
Why I'm a race fan:
An ex-girlfriend idolized Dale Jr. but knew nothing of the rest of the sport, so naturally I watched about two races and became a Jeff Gordon fan to spite her. Been hooked ever since, really.

2000 Ford Ranger
My dream car:
Pretty much anything other than a Ford Ranger

Ignorant racing fans
Anyone else watching the INDY 500 coverage and come to the conclusion that Danica Patrick is basically a one person show out there? This is the first IRL race that I have watched this year, and maybe some of you have watched more and noticed this already, but all they cover is Danica. Oh, she's running 13th. Oh, she dropped two positions. Oh, she's tight(or has 'understeer' issues) and unable to keep on the gas. Seriously? A lot of people used to complain how NASCAR covered Dale Jr. and Gordon/Johnson/Stewart almost exclusively(it has most certainly changed now with the increased popularity of others) but at least that was a four man show. This is clearly a one woman show.
Now I realize she is the most well-known driver in their market right now and she is sponsored by Go-Daddy who appears to be a giant sponsor for that series. But COME ON. Their coverage of that race is an absolute embarrassment to that sport.
Not sure just quite how this works yet, so if I mess up terribly and you find this, don't make fun of me too much, please! Anyways, my purpose here is to introduce myself, I am new to Rowdy, the nname is Brent, I am a Jeff Gordon/Jimmy Johnson/Casey Mears/Brian Vickers fan and I am a City Mail Carrier in Minnesota. Yeah, I am one of those wierd guys in blue who walks around in your front yard and runs away from dogs. All joking aside, I have been listening to the podcast for maybe six months, five or six times a week, and after hearing Buck, Bass, and Cutler ask me to join Rowdy.com pretty much every show(sometimes multiple times), I figured its about time I do so. Besides, no one around where I live is much into NASCAR besides the random Earnhardt fan so it'll be nice to hopefully talk to you. Minnesota is not really a huge NASCAR state, but I have hope that its growing.
Anyways, I guess I don't have much else to comment about right now but I wanted to say thanks to everyone who works on the podcast for a GREAT daily show, and my props to everyone at Rowdy for this magnificant website. In the words of my favorite driver, its just "awesome." Oh, and I chew my Wrigley's gum daily!
