Thank you for helping to make ML187's 6th birthday extra special! : )
i liked racing in the rain it was cool
I will root for Jeff this weekend, (I always do). Don't get me wrong, work sucks, but I do have a job, so I've got it better than a lot of others....
Work sucks but other than that, everything is fine out here.
So great to hear from you! How's your summer going? Loving your new digs?
hey Art, so how did ya like the race? hope you took some pic's. hope to talk with ya soon.
we'll already be in the infield by 5:30 a.m. sunday.
Thanks so much for your thoughts!
Hey Art! Sorry for the long delay in writing you back, but life's been pretty busy lately...needless to say I'll be glad when this semester is over! Have a great week and I'll talk to you soon :)
Art, no doubt we will meet! We do not live so far away from eachother. It would be great for the 4 of us to get together (or 6 if you don't mind cute kids ; ) ). We'll plan it...SOON!!!!!!!
Great blog about Alan Kulwicki, thank you for the reminder : ) And you scored yet another Top 4 position. You are smokin' hot!!!!!!
hey Art! what's going on? haven't had time to get on the net much but saw your shout out and had to respond. :) cool how is the move? like the neighborhood? how's your website going? still growing? hope to talk with ya soon. your friend in Rowdy! Todd
Thanks for the Bday shout out. Hope you're doing well...
The internet shock would be great for work. There are so many clients I'd like to zap.
What did you think of TK getting caught up in another car's wreck just a few laps from winning? Not a huge IRL fan but I hated that for him.
Duuuuuude! 2 of the 4 "Stuff We Like" blogs are YOU!!! You're so cool : )
Not too much going on over here...got back from taking a vacation last week and still haven't completely adjusted back to the real world yet. Oh well. What's up with you?
Thanks! It was time for a change... I'd gotten into the Jack a bit when I took that. hehe
Hey Art! Not so good here, my daughters 5-year-old lab (whom I take care of) is very sick. Just got back from the vet. We will probably lose her. You know how hard it is to lose a pet ... At least I have Nascar and Rowdy to cheer me up! Thanks for the shout!
Thanks for the explanation of "FPO".
Thanks and I lost my other boy about a year ago, he was 15 and was sick off an on for a year. They are such faithful loving companions. My thoughts are with you too, Bela was a pretty girl.
I know it hurts but you know that might be a blessing in disguise - you won't have memories of her in your new house...congratulations on that by the way!
Check out eBay for your MM's jacket. I got my 88 jacket for $94.50 compared to $120 at the track.Of course I had $10 shipping but still cheaper.
Sorry to hear about your Kitty! :(
I'm so very sorry to hear about your beloved cat. As pets offer unconditional love, it is extraordinarily hard to lose them. Please accept my sincere condolences. On a happier note, I'm thrilled for you about the new home. I wish you many happy years/memories! You and Home Depot/Lowe's will get well acquainted!! Talk soon : )
I wouldn't laugh at you for unintentional reasons. I like your wit!
You have a good score for Driver Zone. Bristol blew my score. Back to the drawing board for me. Do you think Jeff will come back after Easter break ready to start his Drive for 5?!
Thanks man. Hopefully I'll get the studio in order enough to really get recording some new stuff in the next couple of weeks.
hey art how's it going? haven't heard from ya in a bit and thought I'd say hi! looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi Art! I hope you have a great weekend as well. :)
Hi, Art. It's great to hear from you. Are you going to meet up with B&B in Philly?
I picture them to be that way for sure. I hope to meet them all some day. Glad you got to hook up with them.
thanks for all your suport how have you been
We live rather close to the northeastern part of PA (near the Del Water Gap) and we see a lot of PA plates. A lot of those cars carry NASCAR stickers. None in Philly? What a shame. Heathens. One day they will see the light. NASCAR's time is NOW and FOREVER!!!!!!!! (getting creepy, aren't I?!) ; )
So fun!!! The boys are great. Glad you were able to watch and hang out with them!! I was listening/watching though my computer. Totally not the same. Although i do like the radio commentary.
Did B & B bring the funny or were they their regular nerdy selves?! J/K - I love them!! ; )
Yes, I saw them around 1986 or 7. I thought they played quite well although it wasn't a particularly long concert. I wasn't sure anyone would know who they are! I'm jealous of YOU getting to meet Buck and Bass. I met Bass and Cutler last year at 2nd Pocono and they are great. I have yet to meet Buck but am anxious to! Have a blast and Happy V-D!
Art!!! Howdy!!! Have SO much fun with the Rowdy boys. Is this your first time meeting them? They are taller than you'd think. :) At least I thought so. Happy V-Day to you too!
Hi Art! I've been absent from Rowdy for far too long, so now I'm trying to reconnect. Hope you and the Mrs. are well. Let's chat soon, okay?! : )
ART!!! Happy New Year! May it be ROWDY and CREATIVE!!! Keep on Artin'!
Cool! Enjoy it Art, I know you will love it!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a ROWDY New Year!!!
It's cool here! I love it! My job is in the busy season, so I have not been able to surf as much as I want anymore. Thank goodness we slow down in Feb. Just in time for.......DAYTONA!!!!!!
Come on, the little horsies running through a Kentucky meadow. It's enough to bring a tear to your eye.
Hi Art! You know how it is up here in the NE...its cold and us NYC'ers walk every where so we gotta bundle up. Besides, as a Wisconsinite by blood, we know how to dress for the cold. :)
I'm so sorry to hear you have been under the weather. I'm hoping you have a speedier recovery (perhaps this means you'll be 'healthy as a horse' for Christmas). The strip was definitely fun for us - what a hoot! Be well and Merry Christmas : )
How are you? I am looking forward myself to next September's Richmond race! Definitely not nuts, just jonesing for the fix!
Hi Art! Thank you for the shoutout! It is great hearing from you. We are fine. The boys, knock on wood, are healthy and are really getting excited for our families to arrive to celebrate Christmas! We are enjoying the season a lot!! How are you and the Mrs. and the 3 kitties? Did you see Racer and me in yesterday's comic strip? There are a bunch of Rowdizens!! : )
hey art :)
I was there when Tony planted that big one on her. classic! :)

Sorry I missed your "Jane Says" blog when you wrote it. I miss that CD. Did you listen to thier first album?
Hey Art, sorry I never wrote back. Doing well here, hope you're doing the same. ( I've been AWOL from Rowdy for a few weeks.)
WOW! loved the website spent long time reading! :) cool site tons of information, easy to follow format as well. well done Art!
Hey art, send me a link to your website I would love to check it out. talk with ya soon!
hey art, what ya been up to? haven't talked with ya in a while give me a shout!
What's up, Art! I thought I was the only Rowdy Filipino here. Glad you've taken interest on the sport. It's not popular with the Filipino crowd but that's what I like about it. Go against the grain...
Drive for five, baby. Rock on!!!
Denim jackets were the shiz! I sneaked my walkman into class on the inside of my jacket, ran the earbuds thru the sleeves and listened to those very tapes during history films. Good times....
Now I remember when Slipper When Wet came out. That one and Hysteria were the first cassettes I ever bought. We're talking my pre-teen years. I don't remember hearing Jane until high school. But hey, it's still good stuff!
Art- we have to make sure you come to Dover next year! We had a great time yesterday. Next year definitely!
Another great thing about iTunes...artist "essentials"...downloaded the full Steely Dan set a couple of years ago...love it. So laid back...
Uh oh, I'm EEDing too. Love Steely Dan!
Hey Art. I might have to ask Lauren to make me an 88 Jr. / Kenny avatar next. That way I can alternate between the two drivers. I've had a lot of compliments on it!
Huge Steely Dan fan here, too!! I was EED on JeffinRoswell's site...
Just saying 'hey' from one art nerd to another! Hope you have a great weekend!
That is a tremendous mix... I'm onto Pavoroti because he just departed. La Boheme in full stereo.
Bakers packs the real man punch. 120 tears the brain down. On an aside .............what are you listening to? As you know I am currently Buckcherry obsessed. Hopefully they will be on your favorite podcast sooooooooon.
I have to say, I just finished off a bottle of 1792 and didn't love it. My heart still belongs to Woodford Reserve. I buy the occasional bottle of Knob, Bookers or Bakers because my cousin reps Jim Beam products, but WR is my current drink of choice.
I think Lauren is coming in from the Philly airport, but she's heading up to NYC after the race so it's a one-way deal.
AAARRR ahoy there Mr. Art! glad to see ye made the journey with us. Me thinks Mr. Cutler has taken the rum! so he's gonna have to walk the plank says I ! LOL have a great pirate day matie! ARRR!
Art, I'm now freelance. With emphasis on FREE. lmao. Trying to work that though. I'm just too darn nice. :)
Graphic designers gotta stick together. =)
Sounds like you get some cool projects. I ask because I used to do some design and layout at print shops, but mostly typesetting-type of stuff.
Yeah, that's a laugh. It more a less a testament to Axl's ego anymore. What kind of graphic desing work you do?
Yeah, Buckethead's a freak - a fantastically talented freak, but still... and here's to beer snobery! And your wonderful wife, too.
I'm so enjoying youir fabulous contributions to the Rowdizen blog. Keep 'em coming! Happy Weekend : )
Art, thanks for the "blast from the past". Dark Star...by the Grateful Dead, awesome!!!! That was my favorite Dead song.
LOL! Good one Art! Love the 'glass shatter' comment on Chief's blog - too funny.
Hey Art, we're fixing the editing functions across the whole site, so you can edit everything you post.
Dude--thanks for the note. Glad you're getting used to the new site. We're getting more things fixed every day.
Hey Art! what's going on? haven't seen ya in forever! what's new? give me a shout! c ya!
My two new favorite bands are Electric Mary and Buckcherry. You gotta download em. They give old metal heads hope.
Glad to see you back on Rowdy 2.0! It's been a busy summer....I'll be passing through PA on my way to Virginia next week....heading to the mountains for some vacay!
I'm enjoying what I can of it Art. Glad to see that when the bug bit you it stuck. Keep enjoying the season and then you'll get to get a full on "off season" experience.
Howdy!! Great to see you on 2.0! :) Your amazing beer knowledge has helped me remember my favorite summer beer and I haven't forgotten the name since! (Hoegaarden rules!) So thank you! :) Going to any upcoming races?
Thanks! It's been good so far, busy, but good ... How have you been?
Hey Art-
Hope you are doing well. Wondering if you are going to make it to Dover? Sadie, Lauren and I will be there and hopefully it won't rain...
