Good to hear from you! We can empathize with you - we hosted Christmas (twelve people in all) and it lasted literally for days! Luckily we all get along and had a great time. Poor Racer, our 15th Wedding Anniversary is today, so he probably feels a bit like you having your wife's b-day so soon after Christmas. I totally agree with you about the commercials. I started taping the races on Sunday and watching Monday evening that way you can zap thru the 2 hours of breaks. It's really bad. I don't get it either.

Thanks for your words of support. I did send an email to KABC complaining, probably won't do any good. When I turned ABC on last night at around 7 or 8 pm, they were still on the fire coverage and the same all day today. Just ridiculous! I recorded the race today on ESPN2 but it was a very abbreviated version. I will catch it again Thursday on HDNet. Amazing...you even got to watch it in Mexico! lol.
