Me_and_3Wow, this Chase has been both ends of the spectrum for me. I'm elated that Clint's doing so well, but at the same time I'm in pain that Matt's having such rotten luck! I'd love to find the guy with that voodoo doll and have a little 'chat' with him.

BTW I was one of the "Lurkers" at the Matt boards and was going to sign up just to say hi but it seemed like it would take a while, I'll check into it during the week. I often lurk during the race so I can keep tabs on Matt too...

2007-nascar-fights-harvick-montoyaI hear you Rae, my freelance is few and far between, I get gigs through a friend but when I did on my own I dealt with incompetent clients not willing to pay for anything. You're certainly familiar with that I'm sure. my main gig is designing print and web ads for Philadelphia Weekly, it's paid the bills for the last 7 years. have a great week, can't wait for race day already!

ProfileRollercoasters????? Not again on Rowdy Okay here's the deal ... my Pops is a huge F1 fan. I mean he played LP's of F1 car noises when I was a kid. I owe it to him to be open-minded about F1. What F1 race do we go to? also.... Sources tell me that Earnhardt was ahuge F1 fan. I think like many NASCAR drivers he drooled at the idea of getting inside such great equipment.

WombatIt's tough. I buy most of my music on i-Tunes or when I'm home in the US. I was happy to see another Del McCoury fan on the site. My tastes seem to run all over the map but my favorites are Tim O Brien, Tony Rice, Peter Rowan, Doc & Merle Watson, Ricky Skaggs, John Hartford, Allison Kraus, Rhonda Vincent, Jerry Douglas. I also like some of the novelty items such as Hayseed Dixie and the album Strummin with the Devil". Being an old rocker, I just love these renditions of rock classics. My friends think it is blasphemy, but I enjoy good musicianship and these guys do it right. I had not heard of Blue Highway until the Strumin album. They have a good sound. I may have to look them up. Any suggestions? One of my life goals is to get to Merlefest one year. I'll make it one day if I ever get back to the States.
