Half of the top six in points are Hendrick drivers. Kyle is dominate as far as winning goes now but if Hendrick gets caught up a little on the COT by the chase, Kyle's going to have his hands full.

Excellent point, Wester. Though Jimmie and Jeff might be having off years as far as victories go, they are still getting it done in a way that the rest of the garage must envy.
It was either Carl or Matt during the post race comments (i think) that made mention of the fact that things are different once the chase starts ...
Not only that, but Jeff and Jimmie have had a fairly rough run of racing luck. If they find that 1 thing that's really off, then things could get REALLY interesting. My concern now though is that Shrub may build a 70/80/90/100 point lead to start the Chase. Not something that is impossible to overcome, but not the easiest either.
Exactly Wes, once the luck swing comes around to Jeff/Jimmie and even Smoke then things might get interesting.
if you want to see it get interesting, just wait until next year when Mark Martin joins the Hendrick team. We could very well see four of the top five positions being held by Hendrick drivers!
The last couple of races it seems like Letarte and Gordon have figured it out. He was one of, if not the fastest car on the track Saturday. One bad move costs you 28 positions. He was in line for at least second and was running up there all race running two lines well.
It's like Gordon forgot what to do when he was out front. When he moved up to block Carl and left the bottom open my jaw hit the floor... I could not believe it!
