So i can't seem to keep up with the races that well anymore. I've been having to go to nascar.com and check out the raceRewind video. It's alright, cus it saves me a bit of time, but i'd much prefer to watch the actual race. Some cable networks (oh yea, i don't have cable) will show the race in full online. TNT attempts this....attempts. They have this thing called 'racebuddy' and you have a selection of views to choose from, pit, battle, ...and two other ones, i don't remember. but it stinks. There's no sound so you don't get any announcers, and there's no ticker to tell you who's in what place. I had to find a radio station that broadcasted the race, but there was a delay in the radio broadcast, so if i missed something on the screen i heard it and then missed it completely on the screen.
Guess i'll just keep checking out that rewind until the next channel picks up NASCAR.
sucks for you have you considered getting trackpass? I rather liked the racebuddy, but then again I have cable so wasnt missing anything Im assuming that since you dont have cable channels that means you also dont have satelite and you probably have dial up alot of cable companies offer cable (which can be very basic to basic to digital w/o movie channels) phone, and internet service all in one for (sometimes) fairly reasonable price I have the digital cable and 5 mgs net for 69.99 with 1 box for the digital and allows cable access to the other rooms and run both my computers off 1 cable box thru a router w/o a problem I have a cell phone so I see no need of a landline no sense in 2 phone bills if u have a phone thats always with you (what helps me with that is I dont care much for talking on the phone so do it as little as possible) I will never go back to dial up again (harsh words hope they dont come back and bite me in the hind end) I also realise that not everyone can squeeze such an expense into the budget it hasnt been that long ago I myself was missing the races that ran on cable and would have to go to the library and hope the computers there would let me get on nascar.com and that no-one else would be waiting for a computer so I could go over the 30 min time limit :-( hope you get the races on cable someday soon
If you don't mind watching Junior the whole race, you still have an open invite to come down to my place and watch it on NASCAR Hotpass man! TNT is awful! I swear, TNT breaks for commercial like every 3 laps! The ONLY thing good about TNT is Kyle Petty. Webber and Dalenbach....mehhh! I know you have family obligations but if you can get free....come on down buddy. Oh, by the way...ordering tickets this weekend for the Labor Day race. :)
TNT is horrible. They try to emulate Fox but fail badly. They also this last weekend would have 2 laps on and then go to commercial for 4. It was pretty rediculous.
