According to NASCAR.com a short track is less than 1 mile, an intermediate track is greater than 1 mile but less than 2 miles, and a Superspeedway is 2 miles or greater. Oddly enough, Dover is listed as a short track. I wonder what The Professor would say to the notion that a track of exactly 1 mile would be listed as a short track and NASCAR's own website lists tracks less than and greater than 1 mile but not EXACTLY 1 mile. Dover appears to be in a class all its own.

And yet Nashville SUPERspeedway (as it calls itself) is only 1.33 miles. And I will be there in only 5 days!
And Professor you are showing your age or at least that English or Nascar Phonics is not your study of interest. Cecil (pronounced See sil), Negre (pronounced Nuh gree), and did you say "Hedley" Gray?
