How I discovered Rowdy, and why I Listen:
Found Rowdy at iTunes. Now I download it onto my iPod and listen everyday. Impressed with how well done the podcast is. Bass, Buck and Cutler make me laugh and I enjoy Rick Mast, Mark Garrow and David Poole.
Why I'm a race fan:
Used to watch occasionally...tried to always catch the Daytona 500. When I got my HDTV my friend Dan got me into it. The only sport I watched regularly was Pro Football. Now I have a sport to watch when football ends. I am addicted to it now.
What car/truck I drive now:
1996 Ford Contour.
My dream car:
Chevy Silverado or Toyota Tacoma (but hate car payments)

Like lots of stuff. Have over 300 DVDs. Love Tarantino, Coen Brothers, Frank Miller's Sin City and 300, Lord of the Rings, Lost In Translation. Also like anime (Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist) I appreciate good filmmaking.

C'mon Jimmy Spencer!!!
Was watching Nascar Raceday...we are what???...12 races into the season??? Spencer is STILL calling it the NEXTEL cup!!! If you are going to be a NASCAR "analyst"...get your act together man! And it's Hendrick not "Hendrix" Motorsports. Hendrix was a kick ass guitar god!
I still sometimes refer to the Nationwide series as the Busch series. Although I guess I get a pass since I'm not paid to get it right. :)

I think he's on the show to be the Yogi Berra of Nascar. He fumbled over most words, and makes no sense when he talks.

Mr. Excitement probably says Nextel Cup because he'd get fired if he said Winston Cup. Even though it's not a mobile phone, Winston Cup still has the best ring to it.

In the pre-show he interviewed Kurt and kept calling him Kyle. I was a bit embarrassed! Knowing the history, I wondered if it really was on purpose. Kurt did not let it get under his skin. That kid has grown up!

Spencer's an idiot. I never watch that show because frankly I find it insulting to my intelligence . Stupid yahoos yucking it up with very, very little good information. A waste of time. Plus, has anyone told Spencer he has a squirrel living on his head? That's gotta be the worst hairpiece/weave deal ever...

I don't think tha Spencer does much prep for the show. I have seen the show in person and he seems much more with it when the cameras are not running.
