Last night Junior had another great run. He ran up in the top ten all night along. He led the race for 35 laps i believe it was. He had a really good car but once again it was not his night to win last night. I know that he is going to be able to break his winless streak this year. Once he does get that first win this season he is going to be unstopable. Even though he has not win this year so far he is still being constint with his finishes and is able to say 3rd in points. As much as I want to see Junior in Victory lane it would be sweet to see him win the championship at the end of year. With everyhting going the way it is right now, I think that he is going to be right there in the thick of the chase at the end of the year. This coming weekend is the all star race and it should be a fun race to watch as always then we are back at Lowes the following weeekend. Everyone have a great Mother's Day and enjoy your week.
If memory serves, Matt Kenseth had just one win his championship year. Granted, the Chase format makes that a lot harder to do, but who knows? Junior's consistency could win out come Homestead.
