Let the rumors fly....
Today we visited Michael Waltrip Racing...which offers an amazing tour of the facility, including the fabricating shop. Very cool stuff. Even more interesting than the tour itself was this tidbit...someone in our group was asking how Ryan and Martin Truex were related. SOMEHOW....this led to our tour guide telling us that Michael Waltrip Racing would be making a MAJOR announcement on July 7. Hmmmm........

This has been talked about on several of the links over on the jayski site. I think the deal has been done for several weeks now.
Truex gain will be EGR's loss. It's a damn shame how far the once might DEI has fallen.

i am just starting to get into nascar....i was reading a book the other day called "the 100 sporting events you must see live" by Robert Tuchman and saw the Daytona 500 at number 19 on the list. i am really commiting my self to try and get to these 100 events and wanted to get some feed back from people who have been to the 500, is really as cool as everyone says it is?
