Kyle Busch & Dale Jr.

I just don't understand all the Dale Earnhardt Jr. fans out there booing Kyle Busch. I mean, this is still NASCAR right? And who set the ultimate standard in constantly & aggressively pursuing victory? Yes, that would be Dale Earnhardt Sr. Both Junior and Busch the younger drive for excellent teams, both have the best possible machines and both have been driving their hearts out. That's what racing is all about. Just because the outcome hasn't gone your way early in this season, shouldn't you still be able to appreciate the talent and the heart that Kyle Busch has brought to the sport? Or would you prefer he just roll over so Junior can get a win? And just what kind of victory would that be anyway? No, Junior needs to go out there and win a race by being the best car and the best driver on a given Sunday and you shouldn't want it any other way! And we all should be able to appreciate the talent and the style Kyle Busch has brought to the sport.

First off, I don't consider myself a Jr fan.

What is not to understand? No matter what Jr stated in the media, there is no doubt he blames Kyle Busch for the accident. There is no doubt with anyone that Kyle Busch is responsible. Whether it was on purpose or not is something for Kyle Busch's conscience to decide (if he has one). For those who don't believe Busch was at fault - look at the replay. Busch went in very had into the corner and got loose and chased the car up the track taking out the 88 car that was in his path. This is fact is really can not be disputed.

With this in mind ask yourself that question again from the perspective of a Dale Jr. fan or someone that may not be biased either way. Jr. fans see Kyle Busch and wreckless and pig headed. We have seen many times that problems are never his fault and always someone else's. He constantly blames his team for not having a perfect car 100% of the time. He doesn't respect his fellow racers and has not earned nor should not receive their respect. Why wouldn't Dale Jr. fans boo Busch. I see everyone who is not a Kyle Busch fan booing him - and rightly so.

I am wondering how much more of this Nascar has to put up with until they do to Busch what they did to Harvick several years ago - PARK HIM for one or more races!

Everyone has to concede that Busch is a great race car driver with incredible talant. But attitude, wrecklessness, and team work are completely missing in Kyle Busch. Without these he will never gain the respect of his fellow competitiors or real race fans. What I mean by real race fans are those who don't simply just on the band wagon of a newer or recent winning driver just because he wins. They tend to cheer because they are able to see they cheer for a winner.

If being a, or being grouped with, real race fan(s) means:
-Cheering when other drivers experience horrible crashes

-Yelling profanity and making obscene gestures in front of kids at the track

-Throwing trash on a track when their driver does not win

-Conducting a weekly 400 level class on how to be a sore looser on forums and radio call in shows

-Causing authorities to fear for the personal safety of a participant

-Spending countless dollars on souvenirs for a driver whose position in the sport is solidified more by his parents than his performance.

-Talking more about what could have been than what is or will be

****************Then sign me up to be an unreal race fan for my unreal driver.

Honestly, if you are going to get this tied up about not winning one race while you were in the lead, your driver is not in a position to win often enough.

How many races, this year alone, was Shrub leading only to have a mechanical failure take away his chance? Or when Kyle got blocked by the 88 in the Darlington Nationwide race subsequently causing a crash!?!?!?!?! Come on Shrubbers, let’s be real race fans and start crying a river over what could have been.

No one expects Kyle to move out of the way but the Junior fans are not the only Nascar fans that dislike Kyle. He is rude and obnoxious. He does not respect his own team let alone anyone else. He is out to wreck as many people possible no matter what and that came from his own mouth. Nascar does need tp address his wrath on that track. He may be a great driver but to how many peoples expense. Not only in the Sprint Cup but the Nationwide and the Craftsman Truck series as well.
