There’s nothing these guys can’t handle

Hello there, I use to work in the ER and i have seen the aftermath of the wrecks. That's why i'm in private duty now working with stroke paitents. But i tell you one thing, no matter the area of the nursing field you still get attached to the person you are taking care of. What really brakes your heart is when they have family who can come and see them but they won't. I can't tell you how many times that has happened and the holidays are the worst on them. I had one little old lady and she looked just like granny on the cartoon with tweety bird & sylvester the cat. Her name was Ms. Tyler and her son of all things was a local Dr. with a family. They never came to see her at all. She had 7 grand kids as well as a lot of great grand kids yet none of them would come to see her. Things like that really get to a person. That is why i go out of my way to do things for them. I know a lot of families won't do things for them so i do. That is why you might see me online at strange hours of the day & night as well.
