C'mon Junior Nation!!!

You know just to even put Shrub in the same blog with Dale Jr. is a Serious lack of Respect for Junior. Hum, let's see Shrub............ Has NO Respect for anyone or anything or himself. Not to mention M&M. But that's right M&M with SHRUB' S opps I mean Nuts. Now take Junior who not only has respect for Everyone. But you never even hear him say anything bad about anyone. He takes blame for his on action. Even when he's not all to blame. Not a Whiner. I wont even mention how hard it must be for him to keep racing. Errr. I could keep going.

hey, we are fans rooting for our favorite drivers but someone should tell the press that covers nascar especially columnists to put their comments on the proper perspective. for instance, nobody bothered to stress the fact that HMS last season was in the upperhand, technology-wise, compared to JGR. and where was kyle busch among the HMS drivers? this season, JGR obviously has a better grasp with the CoT than HMS. To suggest this early that kyle is a better driver than jr is off-mark in my opinion. jimmy and jeff are good drivers yet they are behind jr at HMS. this is not to suggest that jr is better than them but to emphasize the fact that kyle is in a better equipment. it is a long season and putting undue pressure on both drivers is unfair. let's see who gets crowned.

Interesting point. I believe last years great debate was who got the better deal HMS or JGR.
The argument with Jr nation was that when Jr gets into HMS equipment nothing will stop him and he’s going to win race after race in his new rocket. I believe it was DW that said Jr would win 6 races in that HMS equipment.

Now you are saying that because JGR worked their butts off perfecting the Toyota engine its unfair to compare them at this point.

Now Kyle’s fans defense was HMS got the tshirt sales and JGR got someone who will go out there and win races.

So who is right so far?

You just single handily threw every driver labeled as ‘one of the best nascar driver ever’ under the bus with that statement. You basically said EQUIPMENT wins races NOT DRIVERS!
So from now on I don’t want Dale Sr. to be called the best nascar driver ever, Instead his new label can be Dale Sr. The driver with the best equipment in nascar history!!!

Not only is candyman's analysis dead on accurate but quite concise as well. Facts are facts! Kyle's superior performance is due mostly to his talent as a race car driver. Having good equipment is also a factor. Kyle has a point to prove and that point is Hendrick made a huge mistake! Dale Earnardt Jr. is driving on name recoginition alone. He has access to some of the best equipment in NASCAR and still has not won a race. The pressure on Jr. to win a race must be something most people will never know, but that does not excuse his lack of talent. The biggest difference is Kyle has a will to win and shows it, I have yet to see that from Jr. Riding around for points is not what Nascar is about and Kyle lives that every week. Jr just wants to make the Chase so he can keep his ride.

So keep booing Kyle, Jr nation, you are only making him work harder,

I have to put my 2 cents in on driver versus equipment I have been saying for years that HMS does not treat thier drivers and thier equipment the same no matter the words that spew forth from anyones mouth at Hendricks if you are not the star(s) you get substandard equipment, treatment,ect.. just look at the Jr/Kyle issue for a moment yes Kyle did ok last year but put him in a position where they TREAT everyone the same NOT broadcast that they do and see him go Jr has better than Kyle did last year and he is doing alot better than last year and his day is coming now if Kyle had the same treatment/equipment that jimmie & jeff did last year he would have had this stellar year last year but take a look at whats happened to HMS this year where are thier 2 stars? thery have fallen victim to the we say this but do that attitude at HMS Hendrick has put ALL his eggs in one basket and left the rest on the asphalt to bake and if those boys would remove thier rose colored glasses they would realize it they are showing a loyalty that is not possessed at HMS ( I am not a fan of thiers so my sticking up for them is quite remarkable) I am, however a fan of Jrs but he has slipped slightly in my eyes so to the original thread of this forum I have accepted the challenge on the shrub side but apparently the Jr Nation is afraid to put thier money where thier mouths are (BTW) if Jr would have went JGR like I think he should have do you think he would have that win under his belt now?

I couldn't agree more with the first comment, although kyle busch has some real talent, despite his recklessness and lack of concern.
