Sprint Car COT Toy Cars

Chief187

I was wondering if anyone had found Matchbox sized Sprint Car COT Toy cars with current sponsors and drivers. I don't mean the Die Cast collectible ones, but the smaller ones that can be played with by my boys. I still see the old cars with old sponsors at my local Wal*Marts and Targets, but I don't want a red 8 car, I already have several, but nothing with the 88. We're looking for anything new in this size. Have you seen them? Perhaps they hit the South before they hit the NY/NJ area. If you've seen them, please let me know where. Thanks in advance!

We found all of the HMS cars at Target along with some Roush and the #42 and #43...good luck.

I was just at Target and saw a bunch of Dale Jr 88 die-casts. My son didn't want one either. What the heck!?

Thanks for the responses Jeff and Tercio, I truly appreciate it. I will look at my local Target as soon as possible! I write an update when I find them. Thank you again!! : )

A friend got me a KK Bud #9 at Daytona. You can also get them online here:

Nascar.com has the COT 1/64 diecasts (which is the matchbox size) the bigger diecasts are 1/24 scale. For example I saw Junior's AMP and National Guard cars on there for $6.99. I am sure if you can find them at Target or Walmart they would probably be cheaper and you don't have to pay shipping. eBay might be a good place to look as well. Just do a search for "Nascar COT diecasts 1/64".

Wal-Mart and Target around here (Cincinnati) both stock varying quantities of 1:64 and 1:87 cars. The local Kroger store also has a selection of blister pack 1:64 cars tied to the 50th Daytona 500.
