Kasey has been struggling of late, it is him, is it his equipment, it is just the challenge of an ever increasingly competitive NASCAR landscape.
My take is that it is a little of all the above. When you have equipment that is great one week, so so the next and not competitive the next, it has to affect how hard you get up on the wheel. To run up front (I hate to use the Kyle word, but he drives hard every minute he is on the track) you have to push yourself and your equipment to brink every lap. Without strong equipment that is hard to do and can turn a 20th place car into a DNF.
The All Star race is the first sunshine in a cloud covered year, hoping it bodes well for the 9. I miss seeing Bud up front.
I hope he does, that would be really cool.

I agree. The guy has skills but is still trying to adjust to the driving style of the COT. Hopefully Dodge will stop messing with the nose year to year so GEM can finally get some consistent data for their aero package and get these boys running up front again.
